It was a great weekend in Mount Rainier. I got to stop by 9 yard sales. I picked up a tie and my daughter found lots of great clothes.

I then got to see folks at the first farmer markets of the season to pick up some veggies, some sausages, and microsgreens from Root to Plate.

Then I got to talk to voters on 30th and 29th streets. Regardless of where you go there are lots of concerns about traffic safety. Given how I worked to advocate for stop sign cameras in school zones with Climate Parents I know how to make this happen.

That night Emma and I got to attend the Jose’s 30th Anniversary gala. It was so great to see so many great performers, though I certainly have a spot in my heart for the Club Joes salsa dance.

And to wrap it up I was able to bring a few of the Roots and Shoots kids to help Jenny Hoffpauir and the food forest stewards pull invasives and tidy up the food forest.
